A great holiday – loved the hot tub.  Lovely house.

Feona and Martin (Feb '08)

Fabulous house, wonderful view!  Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!  Will be back, hopefully. :-)

Cooks and Taylors (Jan '08)

Lovely house, all the home comforts.  Unfortunately plagued with illness during our stay but still managed a good break.  Recommend the Harbour Inn, Lyme Regis.  Many thanks.

Williamson family (Xmas '07)

Thank you for being so well-equipped to cope with Christmas lunch!  We’ve loved the house and the village and the proximity to the beach.  Fossil hunting has become part of the family life through this stay!  God bless you, many thanks.

Hirsts and Admans (Nov '07)

Another great weekend marred only by the fish & chip shop being closed for hols.  Shame.  Dinner at The White House was delicious and the Golden Cap walk was as lovely as ever.  Lovely house to stay in during all seasons and weather.  Be back soon.  Thanks again!

Cutlan-Smyth (Nov '07)

Fabulous as always!

Roddams (Oct '07)

Our second stay was a senjoyable as our first.  Once again we were belessed with good weather again.  Saw the most beautiful sunset from Golden Cap, truly spectacular!  Had a lovely relaxing stay.  Will be back.

Elgood/Beaton (X4 generations no less) (Oct '07)

Blessed with a lovely house – great weather and beautiful surroundings (Shame about the company!)  We’d endorse all the previous recommendations.  Add to the list – West Bay Hotel for bar food and the fishmongers for cook-at-home ingredients.  Check tides and walk to Lyme Regis and ensure you patronise the ‘ROYAL OAK’ – just 3 doors down.  Heavenly!

Hornby family (Sept '07)

What a fantastic house in really beautiful area.  We’ll definitely be back.

Scott family (Aug '07)

This house definitely has the “wow factor”!  A great time had by all.  Hopefully be back next year!

Swain family (Aug '07)

Lovely house, very comfortable.  We’ve had a great week, recommend the fishing trip from Lyme Regis – caught and cooked our own lunch!

Dave Green, family and friends (Jul '07)

A fantastic holiday had by all.  Lovely house, fantastic position.  Plenty of space for both families.  Everything we could of possibly needed was provided and more!  Can’t wait to come again!

Lynn Collins and family (Jul '07)

Fantastic house!  Beautiful area – Weymouth is lovely so too Sidmouth, Beer and Lyme Regis.  We’ve all had a brilliant time!!

Phil and Teresa Noakes,2 children (3yrs & 4 mths), and parents

We have just returned from a fantastic week away at Fountains Mead. The house was beautiful it felt vey homely, my little boy especially liked the hot tub he spent every afternoon in it! Charmouth is a lovely village and a fantastic location for exploring the coastline and nearby attractions. We will definately be returning.

Vickerys (Jun '07)

Gorgeous, well equipped house.  We loved staying here.  Weather was miserable but we found lots to do – we’ll be back – Thanks!

Amanda and Neil Cutlan-Smith, 2 children under 3 (May '07)

Our second week-long visit here with kids (12 months and 3 and a half).  Still think its fantastic even in the rain!  Just a great location for exploring along the coast, and house provides lots of "R&R" despite the young kids(!).  We'll definately be back soon.  Thanks again.

Just a quick email (we’ve just got back!), but we wanted to say thanks very much again for the use of Fountains Mead.  It was every bit as good as we remembered it from last year, and we had a great time despite the rain (a true test!). We’ll be in touch about another stay soon!

Mr & Mrs Hirst and 3 daughters (6, 8, 11) (Apr '07)

We’re back again! This is becoming a habit.  Lulworth Cove was well worth the visit and Durdle Door was amazing and so beautiful – the photos don’t begin to do it justice – a must for a visit.  Thanks again.  Back soon.

Mr & Mrs Hirst, and 3 daughters (6 to 11) (Apr '07)

We have now stayed at Fountain’s Mead on 3 occasions which probably says more about the place than anything else! Each time we have revelled in the luxurious surroundings with all the comforts of home – and more – and the fabulous location. Our children love the facilities, and especially the hot-tub which is a marvellous vantage point to do a little star-gazing after a long afternoon on the beach!

We walked to Seatown via Gold Cap and enjoyed the stunning scenery & views. If you go make sure to sample the crab sandwiches at The Anchor – only make sure you are hungry!

Our children particularly enjoyed playing on Charmouth beach which is a short and pleasant walk from the house. When you have made as many sand-castles as you can stand and skimmed stones till your arm aches you can while away a very fruitful hour or two collecting fossils. It really is possible to find them very easily at low tide in the soft rocks at the water’s edge.

Can’t wait for the next trip.

Roddams (Easter '07)

Had the most fantastic week.  Cottage is wonderful, so comfortable, was tempted to become squatters :-).  Great location with everything so near, beach, pub and fish and chips.  What more could we want.  The weather was fantastic all week, we did so much.  Lots of walking, Golden Cap to Eype being our favourite, absolutely amazing scenery.  The Anchor Inn at Seatown was very nice, food great.  Lyme was very quaint with great pasties.  So much more still to do so will definitely be back again.

Mr & Mrs Hirst and 3 daughters (6, 8, 11) (Mar '07)

It was lovely and warm. It was one of the best holiday house with heating. (Georgia, 8).

Gosh "this is a fabulous house! I could easily live here!" (Sarah, 11)

A beautiful house, a lovely location, wonderful views and excellent food.  Comfortable beds after busy days out and about.  We had a great week here with the girls aged 11, 8 and 6.  Found lots of fossils on Charmouth beach, walked up Golden Cap – stunning views, had enormous crab baguettes at Seatown’s Anchor Inn, amazingly good pasties and cake in Lyme Regis and the best fish and chips cooked to order just down ‘The Street’.  This is a “rave review” – we will be back very soon! (Mum).

Hirst and Admans (Mar '07)

What a fab house! We had a lovely weekend here with friends and are back with family next week!

Mr & Mrs R, and daughter (2006)

We had the most wonderful holiday at Fountains Mead. The house is beautiful, well equipped and very comfortable. The location is absolutely perfect, short walk to the beach and shops and an even shorter walk to the pub. We had fantastic weather all week and that along with the outdoor hot tub and bar-b-que we could not have asked or wished for anything more.

Charmouth is a lovely village and is an ideal base to explore the beautiful Jurassic coast and surrounding area. We will definitely be returning again.

Mr & Mrs Kane, and 2 children (2006)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fountains Mead. The house was well equipped and the children loved the suit of armour and particularly the piano. It would have been useful if there had been a pack on local places to shop i.e. we found a fabulous fishmonger in Lyme Regis. Also a welcome tray would have been nice as the one time we fogot to bring milk and tea there was nothing waiting for us. We will certainly look at your company again for cottages based on our stay at Fountains Mead.

Ian & Sally Stubbings (2006)

Sally and I wanted to begin our honeymoon by relaxing in a peaceful environment after the stresses and strains during the run up to the wedding.  Fountains Mead was perfect for this.  The rooms were lovely and spacious and the facilities excellent, the large plasma and DVD/Playstation/Xbox coming in very handy! The beach was only a short walk away as were all the local facilities. A great week and hopefully repeated very soon.

Peter & Pauline Luebcke, 3 children and mum (2006)

Just a little note to say a very big thankyou for the opportunity to stay here at Fountains Mead. We have had a wonderful stay - the house is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. Also, it's so close to the beach. Thank you again.

Emma James, 3 children and mum (2006)

We had a fantastic week at Fountains Mead, it really is a lovely house, beautifully furnished and equipped with everything you could possible wish for. My mother and I, one 7 year old boy and two ten year old girls all had space to be comfortably "at home" - when we weren't just down the road at the beach, and the grown ups were able to relax in style when the children had collapsed in bed (all the walking up and down hills did the trick!). Lyme Regis was a 5 minute car drive away and well worth a visit or two, and I can reccommend the Park and Ride service into the town. Charmouth is a charming village and all the locals were very friendly - we will certainly be booking again.

Lisa and Paul Trundle, 4yr old daughter and 1 year old son (2006)

We had a wonderful week long stay at Fountains Mead in June and we enjoyed it so much that we have booked again for another week in August. The house is a real home from home, with everything you could wish for (& more) in terms of 'mod cons'. It was nice to have the option of eating indoors & out having been provided with a wonderful barbeque. The hot tub is a great added extra as-well, nothing nicer than a walk back from the beach and being able to enjoy a dip in the tub in the afternoon sun!!!!!  With the beach being so close, we did little else.   It was nice to know that the house was only a short walk, with two young children this was quite an advantage for us. Not having to load up a car and drive back to our accommodation was a real plus!!! All in all, I can only say how much we enjoyed our stay.  The house is beautifully presented and makes you feel very much at home and relaxed. The position of the house is great too, five minutes to the beach and two minutes to the shops.......... and the pub, what more can I say!!!!!

Jill and Barry White (2006)

I am writing to thankyou for a wonderful week my wife and I enjoyed at Fountains Mead in Charmouth. The standard of accommodation and cleanliness were superb especially the amenities and best of all the outdoor hot tub and bar-b-que. We will be booking another week in Fountains Mead, can't wait!

Amanda and Neil Cutlan-Smith, 2 children under 3 (2006)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fountains Mead and have no hesitation in
wholeheartedly recommending it as a wonderful place to stay. It is particularly ideal if you have very young children. The house affords plenty of "safe" space for youngsters to run around yet it manages not to compromise on luxurious accommodation for the parents. We will be going again!
